Looks Can Be Deceiving.

Day 06- Favorite super hero and why

Spiderman used to be my number one superhero... well, prolly when I was in high school and all that mattered were mushy things and inverted kisses (if you know what I mean... that scene from Spiderman. Yessh.) But admit it, he really was pretty cool with all those web coming out of his wrist or something AND Toby McGuirre is exceptionally a beauty! So there... I fell in love with him.

I grew up watching X-Men and Batman, too. Although I could remember being a big fan of Rogue, Storm and Wolverine I couldn't remember much about Batman the Genius. All the time my friends from all walks of life tried to convince me to watch Batman movies but I wouldn't be moved! I remained to be as ignorant of the Batman updates (just as ignorant as I am now with the BIG difference between Star Trek and Star Wars! Would you believe I asked The Boyfriend where the Jedi is while watching... Star Trek! Ho-mai!) in the new generation. Fast forward to 2008 when they released Batman the Dark Knight (starring Christian Bale -- the hottest Batman guy EVER! And Heath Ledger the best The Joker character EVER!!!), I had the same passive reaction. Some friends from the ex-company invited me to watch it and out of boredom... I found myself sitting in front of the large screen, cramped with people, our hands full of popcorn buckets. Boy, did that movie awaken the passion that I've had for Batman. To make the long story short, let me just tell you why he's my favorite superhero... in bullets.

  • He's clever, smart, and a major genius NATURALLY. No spider bites or magic potion whatsoever to make him the man that he is! He works with his own mind... developing efficient and powerful weaponry using only his creativeness and geniusiery (Ok. I made that word up, it just sounds... fun and right ;))
  • He conquered his fear by facing it solely and accepting the fact that he is scared. Sometimes accepting things as they are can surely take you a long, long way.
  • He's hot and an ultimate genius (if I haven't said that yet).
  • He's soo rich, but he remains down to earth.
  • He bleeds and hurts like most of us.
  • He's just really my favoritest.
And I haven't gotten over the movie yet... Heath Ledger played his role real good and although, unfortunately ,he had to leave the world earlier than he should :( It was really a good send off movie as though he knew and the world knew he won't be staying for long. Oh, rest in peace Heath.

I like Ironman, too. Hmmm... second to Batman because of more or less the same reason ;) And because Downey is hot, too. ♥ *winks*

it's the fourth of july in the wilderness,
