The Saddest of People Are Those Who Smile The Widest.

Your lipstick, his collar
Don't bother, angel.

You can always try to fake it,
but you know you will never really make it.
The pain,
The hurt,
The secrets,
will eventually find its way into the surface.
And if you try one more time to hide it…
For sure, one way or the other,
you’re just gonna break down.
The pain,
The hurt,
The secrets,
will eventually pile up like the clothes in your laundry.
But hey, c’mon, be honest…
to yourself at least.
Just admit that sometimes you really do need
somebody else to make it through.
And remember, there really is a VERY thin line
between sanity and psychosis…
You really wouldn’t like to cross that line, do you?

The Clock Is Ticking and I'm Still Breathing

I leave the gas on, walk the alleys in the dark
sleep with candles burning, I leave the door unlocked
I'm weaving a rope and, running all the red lights

And that's probably what I am doing or should be doing right now - UPGRADE/ING MYSELF. The weekend was frustrating because I was itching badly to blog or write but nothing would come out of my head... I mean something that would make sense and something that would be quite interesting. Well actually, nothing really very interesting happened during the weekend, I just spent it sleeping and browsing through some videos of Katy Perry - I swear she's really good! Go ahead and check out her videos, particularly those that were shot live - they are definitely amazing, giving me more reason to fall in love with the Great Katy Perry! She's not just a musician and a fashion icon that I am swooning on but also an epitome of prettiness (in my book!). =) If there's any celebrity or artist's closet that I can raid... it would be Katy Perry's in a heartbeat!

Yesterday, The Boyfriend and I were watching this TV show called Unique Autoshop or something where they fix and customize cars and we were really fascinated by it. Actually, our fascination for cars have grown tremendously in the past days or say weeks or months and everytime we go around the city in his ride or while riding the jeepney we couldn't help looking at the different kinds of cars that would pass us by. He's even thinking of taking some short course on auto-mechanics so that he'd be more familiar with it and I think he's really digging on cars and the machineries of it right now. As for me, I'm still dreaming of becoming an F1 racer. Hahah! I don't even really know how to drive perfectly just yet! Or probably I could still work for F1... wheel changer or something? Well, I really, really, really want to learn how to drive and drift and learn everything there is to learn about cars and whta not. Some months ago I was even thinking of dropping off Psychology for good and take up a course in Mechanical Engineering instead. I'm still thinking of doing that now... but I don't think it would be too practical. Right?

Ah! For now I'll just have to dream of Ferraris and Lamborghinis and of course F1 and driving side by side with Hamilton. ;p

keep dreaming,

Our Love Story Is No Fairy Tale But I'd Like To Think It Is.

You lift my feet off the ground
You spin me around
You make me crazier crazier

07.24.09 | 01:59:56 | WITH L♥VE!

July 23, 2009 - The significant event that I talked about a few blogs away finally happened. Yesterday, Tim and I celebrated our first anniversary and up to now I couldn't keep smiling although I have already been bombarded with really lousy calls - they just couldn't take this happy disposition away from me, not today. I was really thinking that he would forget about the anniversary stuff and we didn't make plans at all to go on a special date or something. We never, as in never, even talked about it. I know it might sound weird, but we're not really the kind of couple who exchanges gifts or go out on a date every "monthsary". Both of us believe that we don't really need those special dates to be special - we can make any date special, that is. Although I am always fond of noting the dates that are worth remembering, I am but a girl what can I do? I can't help reminiscing about the best times we've had together!

Wasn't it just yesterday when I saw this guy at a party and he, drunk and all, asked for my number, and begged me to stay with them for the night? It was crazy how we started. We'd text once in a while and hang out at McDonald's like once every two months... we became really good friends. It was my best friend who introduced me to him and it's really funny that she's talked about his lot a hundred times to me already and didn't meet him until we were already out of high school. We met each other last year at my bff's sister's 18th birthday party and that was when he asked for my number and yes, he was kind of... drunk. And we're also thankful for that, I bet he'd never have the guts to ask for my number if he wasn't or I don't know, God does have his own way of working on things though. I'm sure God planned this love story all along. Because before he finally gave it to us he'd put us to some not really very pleasant things... I'm just glad that we have each other now. Tim told me that I am his healer and he is my teacher. For all of my 23 years, he's like the best thing that has ever happened to me - seriously. I wouldn't ever want to exchange him for anything or anyone. We've been through a lot before and within the relationship, but I'm proud to say that we made it through unscathed and we're even stronger now and wiser.

The good thing about us is that our own preferences for most things are mostly the same and not the same. Confusing? Ok, put it this way, we haven't lost our individualism. See, when it comes to books Tim likes the classic ones and I like the contemporaries but I got him to read Neil Gaiman's books and he got me to read Gabriel Garcia Marquez's Love in the Time of Cholera. We give enough freedom to each other - like, if we wanted to go out with our own set of friends it's ok for both of us as long as we send updates when we're apart, the main purpose of which is not to worry the other. I don't know if it would be too early for me to say this... but I really think that we are perfect for each other and that I have finally found the one for me. Tim is the only guy who never gave up on me and the most amazing thing that he ever did was when he stayed with me when I got really sick and didn't want to see him anymore. And not to mention, he's been really loyal to me - all those girls out there who's secretly wanting him doesn't stand a chance! Haha! ;p I'm really hoping and praying that he will stay with me for as long as he could, as I always tell him. But if it were up to me, I would want him to be with me forever and ever. I would never get tired of him. Never. There was this one time, I asked him: "Tim, will you ever have enough of me?" And he replied, while staring into my eyes (I swear, if I were butter, I would've melted right there and then!): "NEVER." Oh... love! That was one of the sweetest thing that he's ever said to me. The number one sweetest thing he's ever told me since we've been together is when he finally gave up all his defenses and admitted to himself that he loves me and he whispered into my ear "I LOVE YOU..."

Tim might really look kinda tough on the outside, but he can be really sweet, too, in his own way. I love him just the way he is! And look, look what he gave me:

Isn't that sweeeetttttt beyond the sweet-o-meter?! That's like a card plus a box of my favorite chocolate: Ferrero Rocher. But the chocolates don't matter actually, the most important thing for me and the same reason why I couldn't keep smiling like a kid who just got her first pair of ballet shoes is because of what he wrote to me. And I also feel a bit guilty because I wasn't able to give him a present, not even a card or a note! How stupid of me, no? But believe me, I was really gonna give him something very nifdaface - a mixtape filled with the songs that I could sing to him in a heartbeat if he ask me to! You can read through that link my explanation. :S

*sighs* I can't believe I miss him already and to think he's just a cab away! Haha! I just love this guy so much.

No way, am I ever gonna let him go,

The Spaghetti Pie!

Last night I fell in love with a stranger
Behind the glass house he came walking out the backdoor
Into a crowd of screaming girls calling his name

07.21.2009 | 01:36 | mmmm...

It's a slow Monday. Relaxing and chilling... it almost feels like Sunday has been extended or something. I am listening to Katy Perry's album some minutes ago and has now turned to Marie Digby to fill the atmosphere with more laid-back music. And I just had spaghetti and a peach mango pie and a burger and COKE ZERO. I really couldn't get enough of Coke Zero - na-uh. Now I feel sooo bloated, but thank God for the food and of course, all the blessings that he's given to me! And please, Lord save me from being a glutton! :o Anyhooser, listening to Marie Digby makes me want to cook this Spaghetti Pie recipe that I've stumbled upon in the www.

Ingredients:

10 oz spaghetti
7 oz cheese
2 bell peppers
1 large onion
1 large carrot
2 spring onions
2 tomatoes
4 eggs
1 tsp lawry’s seasoned salt
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
1 tbsp parmesan
1 tbsp parsley
1 tsp basil
pepper
cayenne

INSTRUCTIONS: (summarized by me! heheh..)

1st CHOP everything that there is to chop: bell peppers, carrots, onions, tomatoes and everything else seriously. But make sure not to cut or chop your fingers!

2nd Boil your pasta according to the instructions on the package! And you can add some oil in the boiling water to prevent the pasta from sticking to each other - that's a tip from my mum! :D

3rd Batter egg and add some flavoring to it!

4th Add flavor to the chopped ones!

5th Mix all together!

6th SEE THE REST OF THE RECIPE AND INSTRUCTIONS HERE! =)

Oh! I'm now starving again just by the looks of this! Sheesh! And how about some strawberries for dessert?! :D

hmmm... looks like dear Angelina Jolie got the first bite!

let's go cook dinner,

Oh Yes It's Raining! Please Stop Already!

on the same street, there's a dance hall where nobody goes
four to the floor, stealing cigarettes of '90s ghosts

07.20.09 | 15:13:58 | pretty girl

Helloooo everyone! I had an amazing weekend - like supermassively amazing! A blast, in fact! I was sleepless from Friday until about four in the morning Sunday... I'm still a happy kid though!

July 19, 2009 marked my sixth month in the company and that means that I have just been regularized! I was once sooo anxious about regularization day cuz of my absences and I am just glad that I'm now part of the company without a doubt!

SATURDAY. From work, Tim and I went straight to visit my doctor for my monthly follow-up check up. He recommended I read the Seven Habit of Highly Successful People and The Puprose Driven Life - unfortunately, two of the books in their category that I'm not a very big fan of. For the sake of compliance I'm gonna go ahead and take a shot at The Purpose Driven Life since I already have a copy of it anyway. In fact, I have already started reading the first part of it. Oh well, Dr William, you better give me some credit for this!

i know it looks old,
it's been left on the shelves
for years already.

I guess it's time I know my purpose in life.
and what I'm missing exactly.

As for the other book, I'll be praying that somebody will give it to me probably as a gift or something or I WISH HE (MY DOCTOR) will provide it instead, like give it to me for FREE (he could take it from his PF! heheh...)

The moment I got home I had take off again to the city to pay my bills and have our internet connection, well, reconnected. And it so happened that Tim and his family were also in the city. His dad just arrived in time for his sister's birthday and also he did mean to be home earlier so he could join his first granddaughter's, LJ, first birthday! I had lunch with them and didn't stay for long... I had to run again for some other chores! I swear I didn't get any sleep at all, but I'm not complaining! It was all worth it. And I had my dose of

The night before, the rest of the team agreed to celebrate this historical day by partying like rockstars! Hahah! Although we weren't really complete because of some inevitable reasons... those who weren't able to come were excused and apologies accepted. No worries at all. So moving on, we had dinner at AA's. The food was amazing or perhaps we were just really hungry or maybe this particular restaurant really serves good food. Well they're pretty popular around the city though...

LOOKIE:

sizzled milkfish
(that's not really the name of this food, I'm just making
that up! heheh..)

pochero!
very appropriate for the cold weather.

It's really funny! We even weren't able to take decent pictures of the food anymore cuz we were seriously starving already! Like super! Right after dinner we went straight to hit the Videoke Bars. The first destination was packed, good thing Governor Julie (peace Chul! :D) had friends in this other Videoke Bar, Gimik. She asked them to reserve a room for us and we were solved! Although we still had to wait when we got there. It was a Saturday after payday, for crying out loud, what was I expecting?

Us, Dispatch, outside AA's L.A.Hug :D
with the security guard directing our poses, hahah!

the videoke room lights :)
yes, i see rainbow!

in this picture we were supposed to show off our pearly whites
but then juno chose to give out that
pretty pucker! :D

"i can see you through my heart."
julie and her pretty earth coloured
and flowery dress!

"peeking through your heart."
woisy in a see through black and white tee

"here's my heart!"
juno all smiles in her orange dress,
simply elegant! :) made her look like
she just came from a debut party! PEACE!
junz, you actually won outfit of the night!

"heart misplaced cuz i left it in meadowland."
me wearing my sister's ULTRA violet tee-hee! :D

The videoke was really crazy in a good way and really fun! Since the four of us - Julie, Lois, Juno, and Me - were the only ones left (Xtian and Ainz had to leave for their Saturday commitment with work), we took the oppurtunity to take control of the place with nonstop singing of random hit songs like Spice Girls, Heart, The Rembrandts, Incubus, Katy Perry and our very own local bands Eraserheads, Imago, Rivermaya, and our favorite of the night: AEGIS! It was very liberating to be singing Aegis songs!

After the Gimik we went straight to Vudu to continue partying. Unfortunately, I was already tipsy with the Weng2x and that other drink which I couldn't remember the name at all I couldn't help taking a nap on one of the tables just outside the dance club. Crazy me. And Lois' tum-tum went bad she had to go home early. I think I might've slept for like half an hour and when I woke up I already had a cup of frap! I had to drink it so I would feel better. I did a bit, but then later on craved for spaghetti! We had to walk to the nearest McDonald's to get my fill!

Lastly, thanks to Julie's PR prowess we met some new friends! :D

in this picture is Niña.

and here is Sid, William, and Jepoi

on our way to McDonald's
we strike a pose at the overpass! :)

Earlier that night, when I kissed my mom good-by she said that I should go home early and that I shouldn't drink. I'm sorry mother I couldn't help it... Well, I've been a good girl though cuz I went home early... in the morning! Sorry, really. I seldom go out now so please reconsider! I love you! :D Sheesh. I did get home very early on Sunday at about four in the morning and I fell asleep in the cab! Good thing the driver was nice enough to have awaken me five minutes just before our place. I was all groggy and dizzy I didn't mind anymore that he asked for an additional P20! I was just glad I was home and will be able to roll in bed and doze off. After sending my text messsages to Julie and Juno and Lois and of course, Tim - I let myself be knocked out. And guess what? I missed mass because I had a really painful headache! :O

SUNDAY. I spent the whole day sleeping at Tim's place! And the moment I got home I was surprised when my mom met me with "Hey, someone dropped by to give you these..." and she pointed to a package on the couch. It was a Nissan toy car (which turned out is for my sister Lique2x) and this:

I'm not sure who that is. It could be me or my sister Lique2x or Lovely or a mixture of the three of us! Hahah! A good friend of mine gave it to us and I'm not sure if it was him who made it, but it's really cool although again I couldn't figure out if that is me or one of my sisters!

I guess this should be it for now. I think I have blabbered enough and it's time I hit the sheets... I still got work tonight! Oh by the way, noticed my lipstick? It's soooo cute and I really, really, really love it! One last picture before I leave for slumberworld (OMG! It's already 5:00 PM!):

Fashion 21, Aqualicious in Little Mermaid Pink
just the kind shade of pink that I want!

alright, sleeping now,
