Time Can Take Its Toll On the Best of Us

Day 16- Another picture of yourself (baby pic!)

I'd like to think that I am still a baby in this picture :)
That's my dad right there and his hair's still long ♥
I am forever going to be a self-proclaimed papa's girl no matter how hard and badly I try to get over that phase!
That's our very first car ever which my dad personally assembled and converted into a mini pick-up;
I remember, everyone in school was envious of this *sniggers*
Sadly, we no longer have it with us :(
No more cars registered under our name *sniffs*
But one day, you wait and see.
*hums*
:D

Gahhh... looking at all of these pictures make me want to cry. Seriously. Makes me think of the time I have to save to think over what I really want to do with my life. Tim said I shouldn't worry because I will eventually find it out along the way... I just have to trust Him, God. My friends say that God will one day remind me of what I've been wanting and wishing for too long but somehow forgotten about and it makes me sort of sad because if you only knew what I wanted sooo much some five years or so ago :( I am totally envious of those who have plans all laid out for them since day one. I am one of the many who doesn't have any clue at all on what to do with my life right now. I hope and pray that one day I wake up enlightened. I just really want to live my life and don't want to spend the rest of it worrying what I wanna do or what I should've done. I just wanna live and be happy and have no regrets at all.

why grow old so young,

Christmas Wishlist 52

~Oh Thank God there's Blogspot that's always reliable! ♥

Yes, we have 52 more days left before... CHRISTMASSS! And I'm starting to fill out my wishlist and gift-list. You read that right: GIFT-LIST. It's my own list of the people I will be wrapping presents for this Christmas, but nope, you certainly won't find me riding a sleigh pulled by red-nosed reindeer and climbing a non-existent chimney. Snow haven't heard of the Philippines just yet. Zit. I will take photos of my wrapped gifts when I'm done with them :) I've decided that my wrappers for this year will be in the bluish and silvery shade :) Last year, it was of pink and silver.

I will be working really hard in the next hours to come. I've, or rather, WE have a deadline to meet and we're so close to that and I honestly haven't started anything yet. Not even a draft! Good heavens! Plus, there's the pressure of not having any finalization yet to the upcoming departmental party for the company which I am part of (the committee). Major headache! It's going to be on the 5th already! I'm going bonkers certainly! :o

To de-stress... I am looking at these dresses for the Christmas party:

Yes, I want my dresses simple, low cut, and sexy :p Ala Serena Van Der Woodsen :) But I'm still thinking of just wearing a black minimalistic tube dress. We'll see about that... in four weeks or less :o And oh! My apologies for forgetting where I took those photos from :( I'm not sure... Prolly edressme? If anyone knows, please let me know! Thank you!

And my wishlist post:

~picture from HERE.

The Boyfriend Blazer. Ultimate want! I have been looking everywhere! I found one in TopShop at Php4395 and thought that it was too much. I found one in July that fit perfectly but... I couldn't impulse shop! I just couldn't! I have to wait for Christmas. I have to. I hope, I hope... Santa Claus hears me.

the pictures, the pictures, the thief,

P.S.

Either of these blazers will work, too :) ♥

My Blanket Has BIN Washed Clean

Here's an account of my weekend life in a bloglet :p

SATURDAY:

~Lunch date at the winery with the Gerali family.

A treat for our 27th. Hahah! The original plan was to eat at STK Ta Bay! in the Fuente area, after almost fifteen minutes of trying to locate the place... Much to our surprise the Ubec food haven is... CLOSED! We had to brave the noon traffic to go to the next best thing... The Lhuillier's cozy restaurant: PINO which is located in Lahug. Lunch all you can eat buffet is at Php298 and dinner is at Php300++, forgive me but my memory failed to register the price! And if you ask me why dinner is a bit more expensive than the lunch buffet... I'd tell you it's prolly because of the L E C H O N :D Anyhoo, I really like the place aside from the food the staff are really very polite and hospitable! They always see to it that you leave the place with a very wonderful experience to show off to your friends. And because of this I didn't regret spending any of my peso at all! Uhm, not that I even spent a peso on that lunch. It was all for free! Thanks to my ever generous Boyfriend ♥

And guess who came with us to lunch? Oh yeah! LJ dearie in her pedal pj's (because she's grown much the past months!) enjoyed very much all of the attention the waiters gave her. She was definitely a princess that day. She loves it, I could feel!

SUNDAY:

Ahh... Sunday was blah :| Well, except that I spent the morning at Church with Tim's family and the rest of it at their place helping him out with his "familial obligations" (as he would like to put it.) Believe me, it was all a piece of cake and I really love hanging out with these wonderful people! :) So... I take that back. Sunday wasn't very blah actually! :p Lunch is always heavenly at their abode with the Sunday special dish: Talisay Lechon! Yum-yum-yum! :) Although I could only pig out on the skin and the juicy fruit part -- I really don't know what that part is called so I made that up since it perfectly resembles it!

~me and Lique2x, from one of our swimming sessions :)

Sunday night was spent hanging out with my sis Lique2x. Where we hung out? Right there on the bed that we share since we were toddlers... Make that a hand-me-down bed from our parents. We stayed awake for a couple of hours more past our bedtime just to simply catch up with each other, to share ideas on how to stay fit and to talk about our plans for Christmas. It felt good to be talking with her again. It has been sooo long!

MONDAY:

I woke up very early so I could catch a worm! Well, lo and behold! I did catch some hundreds! And off to the voting station my sister and I went to give our approval to those who we think should lead our lovely little barangay into prosperity :)

~ako ang simula ng pagbabago ;)

After casting our most wanted votes we went straight to the city to spend our "election presents". I think Elections season is already my favoritest holiday right next to Christmas. *sniggers* Sister dearie and I bought ourselves goodies: a shirt, a tube top, cleansing face masks, a pink nail polish, and some other skin care products. I enjoyed hanging out with my sister, it has been a very long time as well since the last time we ever went out, get girly, and check out all the cool stuff that we could find at the mall and taking mental notes of them so we could save up in time before they all run out or ransacked from the SALE rack. I did miss her while we were busy going on about our lives. I am hoping that we'll have more days to spend with each other... and I wouldn't mind just talking with her. I wouldn't mind traveling with her, too. I realized we haven't traveled together yet. So maybe I'll bring the topic up and wait for her to go with me :) Or better yet, coerce her into going with me! Hahaha...

Moving on... After getting a good five or four hours of sleep... Time for work finally came and I was very much looking forward to have my starry blanket wrapped snugly around me again. I was excited by the scent of it the moment I got it out of the plastic from the laundry's counter. But now that it is finally with me - wrapped snugly... I'm not sure if I am very happy at all by the scent of it! :| The smell of the detergent is too strong for my sensitive nose and the migraine, which commenced earlier today right after spending about a couple of hours under the sun's heat just to cast my vote for people I barely even know at all, has suddenly skyrocketed to some horrifying level :| But surely, I will survive the day. I will. And I'm not done yet with the laundry part... they totally screw my name!!! My jaw dropped to the floor (exaggerated, of course) when I saw my name scribbled on the plastic very, very wrongly. It read:

Bin?! Whoever is Bin! No Sirs and Madams... I am definitely not a part of the "BIN laden" clan. Nada. Who's at fault? Idk. I prolly didn't write my name legibly so they had to make up some funny names like... BIN! As for now... I have tossed the starry blanket into my drawer because my nose couldn't bear the scent of it just yet :( I hope the drawer will suck in all the strong annoying detergent scent!

Oh Monday and ancient times,

~tSin

Down With the Sickness

NOT :(

I feel weird. My hands are shaking, I feel dizzy, my back hurts so much it feels like I'm carrying the whole world on it, and my stomach is in a ramble! Whatever happened to me in a matter of less than nine hours I now feel very sick and out of sync as well.

Btw, tt's one of my gorgeous friends' birthday today, Bula (as we fondly call her + pic above ;)) and I don't want to miss out on the party tonight much as miss out one work night :( I hope that rest will heal this überly weird feeling that I'm having right now.

Let me leave you with a picture of LJ (The Boyfriend's very cute niece who's definitely talent-packed!)

She's just two and she now knows how to sing the ABC completely!

Well, except that she skips and replaces "E" with F and G! Hahaha! But she really is a cutie-pie! Most especially if she is in a very good mood! She knows how to sing Twinkle-twinkle, too! ♥

Anyhoo, I hope you all have a great Tuesday. The sun is up outside... still a bit cloudy, but it looks like it's a lot better than yesterday. We'll find out later! Ciao... for now.

be well,

~tSin

Sometimes When I Sleep I Wish I'd Never Wake Up

photos randomly picked from random sites in Google Images :)
Because in my dreams I am the hero of every story told and even if I die in my sleep I could just start a whole new dream altogether.

Of course the real world is still a lot better despite the fact that we don't always get what we want right here, but in the end we'll realize that all the tough rides and miserable wanderings are all worth
everything.

click on photo for a LARGER view!

Finally, I am done with day 5 - Letter to Your Dreams! After a very, very long time of procrastinating! There goes my masterpiece... or not! Be my judge. I've added some kindergarten drawings on my writings. I love doodling! But this art definitely doesn't love me as much! :|

click on photo for a LARGER view!

Like any other normal kids, I've had too many dreams and ambitions when I was just a kiddo who knew nothing but spend scorching hot afternoons in the blazing midday sun, chasing boys for a game of tag, and sculpting mud! instead of listening to Granny's advice of taking a long relaxing siesta. Hahaha! What past-time activity did I seriously have back then? Well, it was a really fun childhood though.

Going back, I won't reiterate any further or compose a novelette at all because I really don't want to bore any of you at all. I'll just give you a list here of all the things and people I wanted to be while I was growing up:

  1. A Writer. I couldn't remember exactly when I started to write things but I think that I've been writing since the day I came out of my mother's womb! I've had tons and tons of diaries most of which are filled with feelings, feelings, and feelings and dismay for boys who never noticed me at all. I get goosebumps when I reread them now... they're too cheesy! I don't want to admit at all that it was me who ever wrote them!
  2. A Cyclist. And I don't know which came first my dream to become a writer or to be a cyclist. I grew up watching my dad in his mountain bike with really tight bike shorts and super cool looking helmets and the perfect cycling shades! You can refer on my older post and you'll see I've biked since I was like three although the photo might show that I'm like five there already, but I did start riding those makeshift bikes for kids who doesn't know how to balance yet. I was in love with biking and it's sad though that I couldn't even remember anymore the last time I've pedaled - fast and hard. Phew.
  3. A Flight Attendant. I used to call them just "stewardess". Well, that was how they were called before, right? But I've long given up on this dream ever since the day I found out that I could no longer grow another inch taller!
  4. A Ballet Dancer. Aside from sculpting mud, I also do cartwheels on our Carabao grass-covered front yard. And whenever I get tired of walking - as in plain walking - I walk on tiptoes. So sometimes, yeah, I'd like to think that if my parents sent me to ballet school I could've been a dancer and a very good one.
  5. I Wanted to be Robin Padilla. Because his outfit really looked sooo cool! And his bad-ass look is just stunning! Believe me, I've had acid washed denim vests... and those bandanas he wear around his head to complete the bandita look. Heheheh! I just love him and even now that's he's married Mariel -- he still remains to be my all time Filipino artista crush! And the ultimate one!
  6. A Geneticist. Influenced mainly by that book of John Darnton - The Experiment. It surely is a must read and one of my favoritest books ever!
  7. A Psychologist. No particular field. I just wanted to be one because I wanted to deal with people. I don't know how or why I even bother to want to get paid to listen to humans whine and complain when I can surely do this for free... to friends.
  8. A Clinical Psychologist. Because I didn't want to end up as a Human Resource personnel. Maybe I could handle interviews and trainings BUT NEVER computing salaries and benefits. No way.
  9. A Wanderer or Traveler. I want to see the world and experience the culture, taste the food, and discover the type of music that they have in every country, city, or town.
  10. A Violinist or Pianist. Just because
  11. A Housewife. Who will always be there for her kids whenever they call. Who would cook breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks! Who would take her family to picnics and amusement parks. Who would take her family to a trip abroad during the summer. Who would love her family with all of her heart and soul.
I still have a lot of dreams... some I've already dreamed about and some I would still have to dream of the moment I close my eyes.

who did you want to be,

~tSin

It Has, But it Doesn't

OR... I REALLY DON'T KNOW.

But here... I just want to share a not so fanciful find and/or discovery that I've had in the last two weeks while I was spending some "me" time at the mall and got very bored shopping around for things that I could never seem to afford as of the moment. I have this habit of turning my phone's WLAN and randomly search for "free wi-fi" in almost
anywhere I go and to my surprise...

Lo and behold!

But much to my dismay... take a look at the progress:

I've tried it for about two to three times already but no success at all! CONNECTION FAILED! My friend Teenee said that it does work in the Timezone ACTIVEZONE area of Ayala Center... maybe I should try that over the weekend. Maybe it's a very new feature of them Ayala Center and they are still working very hard to make it work for everyone just like SM who's got unbeatable free wi-fi so far! The Boyfriend and I have hung out at Starbucks in the Northwing area once and we were too fascinated by its fast connection we couldn't help downloading the One Piece Strong World series! Hahahaha! And I was like... maybe we could hang out here more often and bring TT (the laptop) so we could download more! Well, it's not like that's illegal, is it?

I should say though that this is a good step for the Ayala group to venture into the free wi-fi thing because it can surely lure a lot of consumers into spending more time and money right there -- so it's still a win-win business for all!

Btw, I couldn't wait for tomorrow! I will be on a hunt! I'll tell you soon what for ;) Stay tuned! *kisses*

so long sweet weekend,

~tSin

EDIT: In bold RED :) Thanks Teenee!

OWLS are CATS that FLY :)

I don't know when my fascination for owls began. Prolly, during Harry Potter times with the most adorable owl Hedwig or I've long before seen them (of course silly!) and adore them by then but I just adore them more now and openly! Anyhoo, The Boyfriend decided to take me to a Sundate yesterday as he prolly got tired of my whining on wanting badly to go to the mall! Well, it has been forever since the last time I or we went so it was a really perfect timing to go there yesterday! I didn't get to shop though because I am now hanging on to a cash that's being reserved for my fare tomorrow, but it was all good. We got to hitch a ride with his parents on the way to the city and once we got there we were treated by them to a sumptuous "snack" at Sbarro. They really are super wonderful people, I envy The Boyfriend a lot for having them and sometimes couldn't help wishing if they could adopt me one day. That's just some wishful thinking and besides if they're going to adopt me The Boyfriend will be my step brother! NO WAY! Hahaha! Also his parents do love me as though I were their own and I especially love his mom! ♥

On the other hand, I found out in the course of our malling that The Boyfriend had a couple of surprises for me!

One. He bought me a new regular bag. This is really going to be useful as I also have other plans (will have to tell you one day ;)) for its official use ;) And I love it so much because, aside from the fact that it was given by The Boyfriend, it's also very light to carry and big enough to house my hygiene, kikay, and gadget kits! Yes, I do carry a lot of smaller bags inside my bag! I just love to organize things and make it easier for me to look for the things that I need.

Two. The Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga'hoole. My smile literally went from ear to ear when he announced that we'd be watching the movie! Both of us were captivated with the trailer's OST from 30 Seconds to Mars, Kings and Queens, and how it gave an extremely dramatic effect to the trailer. We really love the song even before the movie ever came out with its irresistible trailer!

While waiting for show time, we decided to take a picture of ourselves with our desired owl. The Boyfriend is Metalbeak - one of the antagonists in the movie who is part of the Pure Ones. But in the book though it shows that Metalbeak and Kludd are one and the same owl. Hmmm...

I am cute little elf owl Gylfie. The Boyfriend wanted me to look like her or follow her expression at least but my small eyes failed me. So there I am with no match to Gylfie's cuteness!

Some screencaps from the movie. I found out that the movie is actually based on an epic fantasy book with a total of fifteen books in the series by Kathryn Lasky. Fifteen books and just one movie? Hmmm... I wonder if there could be a part 2, but it looks like there won't be though. We'll have to find out someday ;) Going back to the movie, it follows on the adventure of the young, brave, and ambitious (in a good way) Soren (a barn owl -- and if you get to watch the movie, you'll find out that all kinds of owls were there! And all of them emitting a cuteness in different ways!). The movie is like fables that we used to read from story books in grade school that takes us to an adventure with the main protagonist and then teaches us a lesson afterwards. Let me give you in bullets the lessons that I've learned from watching the movie:

Kludd: The Guardians win, lalalalala, they go home.
The end. Think about something *real*.
Soren: They're real.
  • Faith. There was actually another part of the movie where this is quoted most perfectly. I couldn't remember very well but I think it was Soren or their dad who told Kludd (his brother who took sibling rivalry to the extreme, as in to the point of endangering their lives!) that just because you can't see a thing/person doesn't mean that they're not real. You just have to believe, have faith and feel their presence in your heart.
Kludd: You have a soft head, Soren. Filled with stories, and dreams.
Soren: There's nothing wrong with dreams.
  • Dreaming could get us as far as we'd like to. People without dreams are people who remain stagnant and dissatisfied with life. They are the same people who will never find out what's behind the darkness that is blinding them. The same people who are unhappy with the situation they are in but never doing anything to correct it because they've convinced themselves that there's nothing really out there, no more than a horizon that comes and goes as the sun sets and rises.
Noctus: Legend tells of a band of noble warriors...
known as the Guardians of Ga'hoole.
Whenever trouble is at hand, seek them out.
For they are sworn to protect the innocent, and vanquish evil...
Should I stop?
  • Good always conquers bad. Need I say more on that?
Since I was a kid, I think this is prolly the second animated movie that I've ever watched in the big screen. I really am not a very good lover of the movies and I often fall asleep while watching, however, this movie didn't fail me at all! I really, really love the owls being so cuddly and full of wisdom they could pass as humans minus their feathery nature! The animation was superb and the storyline awesome and at the same time very intense! I'd give the movie an 8 out of 10. This is really going to be perfect to watch with the whole family, but make sure though to give a sound PG since some of the scenes are really bloody violent and not to mention, dark and may not be very suitable for overly young audiences. And yes, do watch it in 3D and feel the owls' wings as they swoop down from behind you ;)

The only thing I hate about the movie is the Owl City soundtrack. Just because it's an Owl movie it doesn't mean you have to put in an Owl City song in there! Was it really necessary?! I didn't even hear 30 Seconds to Mars in any part of the movie at all and that made it all the more disheartening! Oh pft. You really can't get everything though. Let me leave you with one funny dialog between Digger and Gylfie :D

Digger: Knock knock.
Gylfie: Who's there?
Digger: Owls.
Gylfie: Owls who?
Digger: Heh! That's right. Owls *hoo.*

my genes are not made for the movies,

Going to Meetings Without Doing Any Meeting.

A child needs a grandparent, anybody's grandparent
to grow a little more securely into an unfamiliar world.
~Charles and Ann Morse

What I thought would be a difficult task came in really e-a-s-y. Yeah, easy as adding icing to a mini cup cake! And it’s intricately complex to be writing some reminiscence about younger years with my grandmother while listening to Gym Class Heroes’ Cookie Jar. Couldn’t really get enough of that song once it starts playing!

Before I start blabbering all about Gym Class Heroes and how wonderful and easy to the ears their songs are plus how cute Travie McCoy is… Let me go straight to the purpose of this piece today.

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll already have an idea what I’m up to. Yes! I am now on day 4… so 26 days more to go? That’s still a long way, but hey, I know I will make it. I know I will. I WILL. Anyhoo, day 4 is for a letter to a sibling or a closest relative. I chose to write for two people who I terribly miss: my grandmother and my younger sister. Both are still walking the sweet surface of the earth (THANKFULLY!) with so much gusto and unparalleled sturdiness, it’s impossible for them to get lost completely.

Ever since our grandmother left us due to a fight with the mom that seems to be irrevocable – since any attempt to bring Lola back home has remained futile – I have been missing her suddenly intolerably. I realized the moment she went away how I took her for granted while she was away; how I never listened to her because I only wanted to do what I wanted; how I see her as the most annoying antagonist in my life’s drama because she always seem to have this invisible list of things that I can and cannot do; how I hated her at times because she couldn’t stop nagging at my late grandfather (who was really adorable!), mom and uncle and my dad (behind his back), and of course, my siblings and me. I realized the moment she went away that I’ve actually lost a friend, after all she was the only person in my family whom I could talk to about anything, yes, even boyfriends and I did get a handful of pretty good and useful advices from her. I remember our chikas of her younger days and how she met my lolo and their love story. I remember how I made her run after me because I signed our lot title with crayola – clearly vandalism. She really took care of me and my siblings like we were her own children. She loved us dearly although there were really times when she was very strict, but of course that was with a very good cause. I miss her. I really do, didn’t I already tell? But now I’m not even sure anymore if she’s ever going back because my mom is also not doing anything to make amends with lola. Super L

I sent her a letter months ago, asking begging for her to come back home. But she didn’t send any reply. I never heard a word from her, well except for text messages from my cousin on the 5th day of the month reminding me for lola’s money. Ppft. If only she comes back home, everything would be a lot easier.

Because I couldn't find a decent picture of my grandmother.
Make do of this. She absolutely abhors being photographed!
So there's her silhouette, peeking out, baby sitting my younger sister:
Ang (not the one I'm talking about here).

Lola,

You are the best that lola anybody could ever have and the most beautiful one because you love without pretense. You care and sacrifice without expecting anything in return. You have sacrificed enough and I am very thankful of that. You have helped a lot in molding me to become the person that I am now. Your presence surely made a big difference in my life. I really couldn’t thank you enough. My words will only fail me.

I hope you come back home ASAP. Christmas is almost here and I don’t want to spend another Christmas without you L So please, please, please come back home and let’s all be merry and happy and face the challenges together.

I love you , ‘La!

P.S.

~*~

Taken on the day of her birthday.
How I wish she could've stayed as cute and innocent as this.
She's become totally an opposite of her nickname :|

As for the letter to my sister… I don’t want to give out too many details on that because it’s not very pleasant and they better be left as such. I just wish though that she wakes up one day from this really bad dream she’s bringing to herself and to everybody else. Otherwise, she’d be ruined eventually. And I really don’t want that to happen. She’s still my sister after all and I always pray that she be strong to fight off all the demons that will come her way.

it's better we stop pretending,

In Case You're Wondering...

Where I've been lately...

Well, I've been practicing my doodling skills --- not much, but enough to make me get through some things that bother me every now and then.

It's already the last day of June. I'm not back in school... won't probably be back by the next semester even. Not really sure though. No final words just yet. We'll have to find out a couple of months from now.

And it's finally going to be July tomorrow already! How time flies by so fast! And before we'll even know... It's already Christmas time. Hahah! Am I waaay too ahead of myself?!

Catch up with you guys soon when I have more time to write something which will make sense.

Gone for break,

Decadence.

She keeps on asking "do you think it hurts much to die?"
Well it's hurting so much more to stay alive now
Shes gonna find out how much it hurts to die
~From Autumn to Ashes, Chloroform Perfume
10.08.09 | 04:15:55 | back breaking

For days I have been crying myself to sleep because I am badly injured - literally. My left leg hurts so much it makes me think sometimes that I won't be able to walk at all the next minute I'd stand up. I've taken all sorts of pain reliever already just so I can escape the pain for a while and have even stopped taking the meds for my other illnesses (thinking that those might have also caused my leg to hurt). Even my granny's mostly and usually helpful cute little massage wouldn't help me go to sleep at all! Ugh. I am such a sickly person! It's crazy and embarrassing that I have to be at the company clinic every week. If only I can skip that part of my sickly life... I would. But how will I get better if I don't see the doctor, right? It's just a good thing though that we have very good health benefits in the company... otherwise, my illness would just deteriorate rapidly with the prices of all the medication that the doctor would prescribe me!

I will have to rest for today or in the next few hours and then I will have to say hello to the doctor once again! I'm crossing my fingers that it's nothing very serious. Hopefully, something that can be cured with some minty vapor rub. And if you're wondering why I have photos of kittens here... in my moments of pain... they are some sort of consolation with feel-good music, too! Help me pray for my health!

i will be better,

-tSin

Come save me from walking off a windowsill or I'll sleep in the rain.

He took the days for pageant
Became as mad as rabbits
With bushels of bad habits
~Panic! At the Disco, Mad As Rabbits

09.26.09 | 05:48:12 | weathering the storm

It's been raining endless (scratching that cuz I might have been exaggerating) for days and there's a storm coming... so, hello STORMY weekend.

I am such a loser... I haven't posted anything at all for the past days. I'm sorry. But I swear I'm gonna fill you up today with news about yours truly.

I guess the main reason why I wasn't able to write or blog is that I got too busy doing OTs (working mostly from 9pm to 9am) and I swear I've been having headaches cuz we've got very high call volume during the past couple or three weeks. I must admit... it was all too exhausting, I almost got sick! But good news dearies, my tummy is now working at its best! Thanks to the very efficient Doctor who prescribed me those very helpful medicines... now I'm stomach-ache free! Yay! I should celebrate, I should. =) And of course, I should remind myself now and then to give the snobs to sodas and coffee (although I seldom, seldom, seldom drink coffee!) and anything else that is acidic so that my stomach could fully recover from its almost dead state. I sure do feel lots better than before I started taking those meds. Gosh! I cant' believe how I've become such a drug addict in a short period of time. Hahaha! Of course I am kidding on being a drug addict! I swear I'm not!

Ok. Enough about that and let's move on. So... while I was away... I spent most of my limited free time on:

-catching up with sleep (sleeping at night is still the best remedy and the best way to detoxify!);

-reading this and this book =);

-watching some movies with The Boyfriend (we've finally finished watching the Terminator Salvation! Christian Bale was sooo hot in that movie!);

-I found a link for that movie 500 Days of Summer (I definitely love their OSTs! And I swear Zooey Deschannel does look like a lot like Katy Perry!!!) so I started to watch it but I got too lazy and impatient waiting for the stream to load I had to stop watching it after 45 minutes;

-a bit of shopping! I finally got myself these:

actually, The Boyfriend gave me that =) Included in the shopping were two new pair of jeans and a couple of dresses which I really, really LOVE (I don't have a picture of it yet though, but I'll update you as soon as I have!) I'm still looking forward to buying a few more dresses.

-celebrating our 14 months together over a sumptuous breakfast of pancakes and ground pork and corned beef and a heart-warming mushroom soup!

-convincing The Boyfriend to go to the beach on a rainy day. I sooo wanted to go because I had a new bikini to flaunt! Haha! But of course I didn't tell The Boyfriend that and it also wasn't the primary reason why I wanted to go anyway - I just wanted to get away from the city for a while and be with him and only him on our special day really :)

so to the beach we went :)
if you wanna see my skimpiness, you can click HERE
but don't blame me if you wouldn't like what you see! haha!

what else kept me busy... *thinking tight*

OH OF COURSE!

-watching The Vampire Diaries series. Elena is really pretty!

-watching the whole new season of GGX (as in Gossip Girl. I just wanna call it GGX!).

I guess... I was just living life the way God wanted me to live it... I am enjoying every moment of it! No matter how tiresome some days got and no matter how I wanted to give up already! Be proud of me cuz I'm still standing strong and HAPPY. =)

And oh! Yesterday, I had my fill of all of my cravings! Well, except for one: POPCORN! But Julie brought some Mojos from Shakey's and I was überly delighted! And then mum brought home some pomelo, lanzones, and sweet corn! I was very, very full - I definitely felt so bloated afterwards! I guess I will never be able to tell my success story on losing a good number of weight without dieting. Ugh! Eating is just too heavenly good to be said no to, right? Who can say NO to FOOD?! Nobody. Unless you're really crazy about your weight or something like it's already psychotic.

Ho-hum... I am just glad -super glad- that it is the weekend already! I could sleep the whole day and then prolly, if it doesnt' rain, go out with Lois and Juno later tonight at The Outpost to catch some good music (I've read from the B.I.T.E Mag that the place is going to play some Ska tonight. We'll see.) and then just enjoy the rest of my days off relaxing or sleeping, per se.

By the way, I just found a new craze (aside from my regular music-hunting)! Let me call it Tsin's Looklet Craze. =) I just love it and it's definitely soooo addictive! Haha! Here are my masterpieces (some beginner's stuff, really. nothing major!):

~they're pretty safe designs and mix-matches.
I always want to stay with comfort and elegance and a bit
(just a tiny bit) of craziness ;)

And right now, I am most looking forward to watching the Inglourious Basterds -- like supermassively! I've been waiting for sooo long so please let me watch already! Then there's the whole new season of Dexter by Monday! I couldn't wait as well!

Alright, time to wrap up now. I've got to go. Let me leave you with this picture of mine -- me wearing the neon pink sunglasses and crazy polka dress! I feel like a kid! Haha!

Is it me? Or is it really? Whenever those weather forecasters tell us there's going to be a storm the sun shines brightly outside... Hmmm... But yeah, I am aware that in another part of the world some are struggling to survive the very strong winds and the chilling rain and of course, praying that their homes won't get lost in the storm. I'll be praying for them, too.

i don't wannna wait,

Oh You're Supposed to Care But I Think You're Really Mean.

Then i remember all the nice things
that you've ever said to me,
maybe i'm just over reacting
maybe you're the one for me.

A day like this reminds me of a friend who has got this weird belief that whenever you're having a happy hour there will always be a sappy hour after that. I didn't vocally agree with her back then but at the back of my head I really do agree with her... with all my heart because I have experienced the same thing it's just that I didn't want to convince myself completely that it's really like that. That things just get f*cked up in a blink of an eye. So we go out with this friend and spend the whole day in laughter only to find her really quiet at the end of the day, sulking at one end of the jeepney on our ride home... lost in her own thoughts. And whenever we'd find the courage to ask her what's keeping her so still and quiet she would just shake her head and her forehead would then crease into a frown. Later on we found out about her little theory. I realized I wasn't very alone with that belief. Even Charlie in the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower (which I have proudly finished reading already by the end of last week! hahah!) wrote a thing about that as well. I'll try to put that part here once I find it... as of the moment I'm still browsing through the e-book, trying hard to look for it. :S EDIT: Guess what? You can actually find it here - I made a polaroid postcard of it ;)

Why the drama, you're wondering? I don't know. I've been feeling unwell the past days because of my friggin' stomach. It makes me feel so ill, I wanna stay home and not work at all! Ugh. And just last night... I felt a bit better, prolly cuz I asked for the right medicine from the clinic and it worked! Plus, I didn't feel sleepy at all the whole of my shift! I was thinking that since Julie gave me her very lovely headband... that could've been the reason for my happy state today.

~now look at that? isn't that a beauty?

~a beauty indeed! thanks Julie! :)

Or maybe, I'm just too excited to see the doctor later on although I am also afraid to undergo endoscopy! But I don't think I would mind much because right now I'm just as desperate to know if my stomach will not really be the death of me (cuz with all the pain that it has been giving me these days, it really makes me think that it would be!). I want to be free of this stomach ache forever!

Ok. It's crazy how my mood swings can really swing from center to either hard left or right most of the time. Some minutes ago I was so happy and feeling infinite (or almost) and the next minute I just didn't feel like talking or doing anything at all. *sighs* I hate it whenever my mind runs fast and functions double time... it drives me nuts!

I am also somewhat upset because... remember the Katy Perry concert that I was sooo excited about? I won't be able to go (and that's final) and as though that isn't worst enough... The Boyfriend seems to be very happy about the fact that I won't be able to afford to buy myself a flight ticket and the concert ticket itself. I understand how he cares about my finances but I really wanted to go at least he'd been a bit, even just an inch, supportive. But he wasn't at all. I guess he tried to... I wasn't convinced. Well... looking at the brighter side... at least I will be able to save enough money for my school come back this coming November and money to pay to Chiclois, since I will be buying her phone (a really cool one, I should say!) and not going to the concert means more money to spend on dresses :)

I am particularly eyeing these (for parties and night outs, right?):

check it out here :)
