Sneak Peeks!

Wow! I've been away too long and too many things have already happened in between! My presents for everyone are almost ready ;) I just need to wrap them all and they'd be good for distribution ;) Well, at least, not until Simbang Gabi starts though. I think that that's really the official time of the year when Christmas finally commences!

Moving on, since I'm too lazy to write anything right now to give you details of the days past... Let me leave you with these... sneak peeks :)

Not posting and telling everything out yet cuz there's still a couple more coming :)

weekend love story,

Sitting. Waiting. Wishing.

HEADS UP: This post is going to be very quick and brief.

~when you're all alone and weary, who makes you merry?

Day 03- A picture of you and your friends

Here are some pictures of my friends... not every single one of them, but they are like representatives of each group ;) Yes, I do have loads of circles of friends because I could be really friendly although I may appear very shy and aloof to people at the first meeting, but once you get to know me... you'll be regretting it for the rest of your life because I certainly won't stop blabbering and entertaining you to the summit.

~friends I grew up with. From grade school to high school ♥

~friends I met through Tim, very, very amazing people!

~friends that I work with now. The best team ever!

I'm really glad that I have these people around (and also those that I don't have pictures of from this computer) because they totally make me go on through with life seamlessly! I mean, yes, I do need some quiet time and a space for myself, but being around these wonderful and thoughtful friends could really lift up my spirit! I especially love how the bonds I've shared with very old (not the age) friends have gone so strong they almost feel like my sisters and how new acquaintances have lead to great friendships, too! I love it, I love the feeling of spending time with my friends, I love how we'd resolve issues like real grown-up people ('cuz admit it, we could really still get childish sometimes ;))... I just love them, actually. From the bottom of my heart. And again, I am very grateful to have them -- I will do anything to keep them for as long as I can. Oh of course, I would like to say sorry for the times that I've misbehaved (as in pulled in unnecessary tantrums and stuff like that ;)) or failed to keep a promise or failed to be there sometimes when they need me or just simply haven't been the friend I ought to be... But really, from the deepest of my heart I treasure and value everyone! And if only, if only I could have time for every one of them... I won't mind giving it all! So please, don't ever think that I've forgotten or forsaken you if I can't get back to your texts or FB messages and comments all of the time -- especially, these days. There has been a lot going on in my life... Your hi's and how are you's will surely help! Thank you so much! I love you all! I really do!

don't drift away, drift closer,

Inspiration Away

I'm working on my 5th day letter for my dreams, but my brain seems to be not functioning at its peak so I decided to just post pictures of the good things that happened to me recently -- it was all pretty tiring, trust me. But I did survive and here I am typing away so I'm still happy and grateful for all the blessings that God has given me! ♥And since I lack inspiration to write anything at all here are the photos to speak for me...

First, I got loads of stuff from my very lovely friend from Belgium, Lovely Joy. Some of the many beautiful things a girl could ever dream of -- MAKE UP! I've got three new shades of lipstick (but I gave one to my Mama since she's been hoping too long to get one!), two lip glosses, one set of eyeshadow + lip paints and another set of eyeshadow! Lalalove! All the colors are heavenly! I especially like the neon-pinkish H&M lip gloss :D

Together with the make-up is this very lovely H&M top. I really like it and it feels very comfortable! The cloth is überly nice since it can keep you warm in a highly ac'd room and just as cool under the heat of the sun! I've tested this myself in one standing! Lol! Is there even such a word? Anyhoo, too bad it's just Joy's mom who went home to the P.I this time :( I couldn't wait to see her! I've let slip so many chances to meet her in the past few years. I swear when she comes back (hopefully, next year!) I'll really, really see her! ♥

The calls were some gruesome monsters on Friday night! Breaths could only be taken during breaks it was truly exhausting! But Sho made us some hotdogs which we enjoyed to munch in between calls! I really love Tender Juicy Hotdogs! I've been a fan since the first time I ever had teeth to eat them whole! Lol!

The Boyfriend and I went on a side trip to Naga -- a town (or city?) located in the southern part of Cebu. They are going to have their annual fiesta today which by the way is 10.10.10. Hurry up and make a wish! :D I really like those girls in pink and white majorette uniforms! Makes me want to be one of them!!! If I could twist a stick, I would without doubt!

All the girls and boys were swooning over some muscled boy running in very tight triathlon apparel (well they're supposed to be really body hugging for comfort!). I was asking The Boyf if some
artista was part of the race because the audience are screaming and shrieking more than the usual cheering! And then he passed by then bam! It's... Mateo Guidicelli! Did I spell that alright? I hope I did cuz this boy is indeed pretty and as The Boyf put it: the real deal. I'm not sure why he said that though. It's not like they know each other. Maybe because he's an artista, a racer, a model, and a health buff, too? I really don't know.

The main reason why we were in that part of the province is to support this guy in his first ever Triathlon! And he didn't fail us! He did bag the second place for his age category! And we are sooo proud! Oh! Please don't mind my silly expression!

Lastly... I've found some new additions to my survival kit! I think that I've fallen in love completely with that amazing Carmex lip balm! It's soo minty and it definitely peels off the ugly cracks and dead skin off my lips! Of course the neon-pinkish H&M lip gloss is super duper love! Mango & mint tic-tacs! And unfortunately, the lipstick got cut off when I converted it into a polaroid. But I do love this new shade: magenta-violet. Love love love! :)

Thanks sooo much Joy for all the beautiful stuff :)

And lastly, I've let out one secret. However, I still got more that I'm not ready to tell yet. So will you keep my secret?

AND OH! I'm sort of giddy for The Boyfriend's participation to the RUN TO THE MAX fun run later! He's chosen to run 16k this time! I know he can make it! I've given him some hopefully helpful advice of positive thinking, willpower, determination (he's already got that! Imagine running in the rain! :o), and never-ending passion for what he loves to do! I know he can make it, oh, did I already tell?

hear my wish today,

~tSin

P.S.

That Poladroid stuff I told you some blogs ago is really amazing! I couldn't get over it! I could seriously convert all of my photos to polaroids and not tire looking at them!

Saturdispatchdate: Co Jordan

Friday night surprised us with an announcement that we are going to have our quarterly (or actuallywhenever we want to have it and once the company releases our outing budget! haha!) team outing right after shift! We were like... "WHOAH! Are you serious?" It was originally scheduled for the 3rd of October. The organizers then explained to us that the place we've chosen to hold the team outing (or eating, for this matter) is fully booked on our desired deck. Bummer. Since we didn't have any other things to do that day we agreed to just go with it. It was actually an impromptu adventure! And I enjoyed the spontaneity of it. I always love random stuff! This was so random I felt my feet kicked off an hour after they told us the news... except that we couldn't go anywhere yet until end of shift; in fact, there were still a hundred calls to struggle with since the system was being upgraded.

Anyhoo, the cloudy day finally came. Everyone was really excited to go. All the company's vehicles were dispatched out for some other errands. We had no other choice but to commute. After two jeepney rides and one very rough tricycle ride -- very, very rough tri-riding on very, very rough and muddy unfinished roads towards our final destination in Consolacion: CO JORDAN BANGUS AND TALABA!

It was indeed good to know that after that very rough ride we still made it all in one piece with no scratches except for some mud stains on our footwears! (YES! There is definitely an alternative road, but I don't know where that is though.)

So here we are... the cottages (not floating) on the pond (or is that really a pond? heheh...)

Very comfortable and relaxing! No electricfan nor ac needed! It's all breezy out there! So breezy that the ceiling fans have been converted into fly-busters! There really are a lot of them there :| But my friend Julie said you really can't avoid them if you are eating near the water. So... oh well! Candle light lunch? :D

Freshly picked talabas and picked with love by Jensky (left) and Julie (right).

Fishing time! The improvised and manual fishing rods are for rent @ Php10.00 each. Unlimited time :) But be sure to return them once you're done with them. There are still a lot who'd want to rent it and it's a business so you've got to help somehow!

The fish bait also costs Php10.00 each. They're like puddings rolled on fish food powder. I think. When I found out it was pudding (one of my favoritest food in the bread and pastries section) I couldn't help thinking if I really was a fish in my previous life! :o

The Boyfriend with his catch. It took him some time to finally get one. The fishing rod wasn't too friendly to him at all :( But look what he got! Not the biggest bangus in that pond, but big enough to be grilled! Heheh... Sorry fish friend! :|

Lois got the biggest fish! Go Lois! :D Yes, there is videoke there :D For what is Pinoy tambayan anyway without one? We did rent the biggest cottage there is which is worth Php500 but good for up to four hours only during weekends. The videoke is still the singko-singko one though. It was all worth it!

Now, the most awaited part... EATING TIME! Talaba and very yummy (according to them. I can't give my own feedback because I don't eat these kinds :()

Grilled bangus. Aww... poor ones!

He's such a cute messy eater! Squid ink stain all over his mouth and fingers!

Everything was soooo worth it! We only paid a good Php3,150 -- FOR EVERYTHING. Everything as in the food: talaba, squid, bangus, shrimp, grilled pork (for me! haha!), fried tilapia, softdrinks, beer, cottage and videoke! And if you think that's too much... Well there were fourteen of us who went there. Now you can do the math ;)

Just like any other Dispatch Team Outing (or Eating) it was really, really fun! Good friends. Good times. I love how these people could be people whom you can take ANYWHERE! From pungko2x to fine dining; from simple videokeing to adventuresome beaches.

Too bad though that some of us (about four) couldn't come :( But hopefully, we'd be in another outing again soon. Christmas is almost here! I'm already working on our Secret Santa activity!

So I'll have to sign off for now y'all. It's almost the witching hour. If you're thinking of visiting Co Jordan Talaba and Bangus eatery... they are located in Tayud, Consolacion (Northern part of cebu, the town right after Mandaue. Just about an hour's travel from Metro Cebu). You can go by taking a jeepney+tricycle, a cab or your own car :D Be sure to bring along your friends and family to make the trip and fishing more fun and worth it!

eating can't be sin,

P.S.

All photos were taken by my phone's camera :)
Reliable one, Walkie! :)

Through the Christmas Trees in the Holidays

I will heal the ruins left inside you
cuz I'm stIll here breathing now...
~Low Shoulder, Through the Trees

12.22.09 | 07:55:55 | the only way I can survive

Hello everyone... I've had too many attempts to create a post. All I can say right now is... I'm sorry I've been MIA. It's been a really busy and hectic and what not December! And though I'm sort of broke now (as if that's anything new at all!) it doesn't matter cuz I've bought presents for everyone and I'm happy and that is all that matters! I can't wait to see my loved ones' faces light up when I hand them their cute little presents! I especially enjoyed wrapping the said presents! Here's a sampler:

It's a pink-themed Holiday for me! :) I'm not gonna blab a lot today cuz seriously I feel like my brain is quite disintegrated right now. So I'm just gonna post up some photos from the "parties" in the past week.

First, we had our very own Dispatch Christmas Party - nothing really major. Just a small gathering and exchanging of gifts at the La Tegola restaurant. The food in that restaurant is superb at its highest level of superb-ness =)This is surely a must-visit, must-dine for the Italian cuisine lovers.

Unfortunately, no labels for the food :( They're just sooo Italian I couldn't even read them! Hahahah! More photos:

Camwhoring after dinner can be a substitute for dessert! :)

The dress girls and Gee with a crazy pose in the background.

The boys standing proud outside the restaurant.

Then here's me! I've got two new books from Paolo Coelho! Thanks to my manita Lois for being so generous and for making me happy! Now I will surely have something to read for the days that I won't have classes! :) HOOORAH!

Now we move on to our Department's Christmas party at the restobar, Formo. Black and white is the theme! And everyone did really enjoy that night even me who lost the gift my manita Julie was supposed to give me. Because I was sooo excited and giddy... I left the TopShop shirt in the cab :( *sniffs* Well... I'm not really sad cuz I lost that shirt, that particular shirt that I've been wishing to have... I am sad cuz Julie is one of my special friends and the fact that the gift is from her and I lost it... breaks my heart. *sighs* I just couldn't get over it until now... whenever I look back and remember. Isn't that sad? But I think the lesson that I've learned that night is that if God takes something away from you He's bound to give you something greater --- probably not the one you really wanted but something that He knows you deserve to have. I WON THE GRAND PRIZE FOR THE RAFFLE DRAW OF THE NIGHT! =) Julie's prayers were heard! It's still a happy Saturday Party Night after all ;)

And the pictures:

Me and Gelou checking out our outfit before heading out for the party.

L-R: Julie, Gelou, and Mae Ann getting ready to party =)

There's the outfit. I look fatso-tic. Hmpft.

Assorted hot shoes =)

And the hot girls who wore them :)

And the boys being gay! Hahaha!
Almost perfect!
Changed our outfits. Getting ready to hit the stage for our presentation! We danced to Lady Gaga's Bad Romance. ;)
Ainie's hot outfit! :) I especially love the shoes! And if only the dress was shorter I would've fallen in love with it, too! :)

Lastly, the after-party photos. Some were really scandalous I couldn't bear to post them here! Hahahah! Even though it is not of me or my friends ;)

Juno dancing with the Tourist-turned-Congressman. Hahaha!

I changed outfits three times in one night! :)

=)
After one bottle of Beer with Green Tea -- I was like "I've got to go guys!" And off to the hotel I went and slept. Almost got in trouble with The Boyfriend because I forgot to text him that I got to the hotel safe and sound cuz I was such a Dizzy Girl!

And here is my favorite picture of that night:

The classic black and white photo in a dance floor. Find me! :)

And here, let me leave you with a...
