The Dot On a Pot o' Gold.

GoldDot

My birthday shouldn't be a big deal.
But it's gonna come sooner or later anyway.
Plus these überly pretty shoes are too hard to resist!
I want them!
FOR MY BIG SILVER DAY!
AND WHAT'S MORE?!
I think they just restocked on this for my size (7-8)?
Or I think so...

I could want so much,

THE INVENTORY: In the Loot.

"If you wanna know a person, take a look at what's inside his bag."
                                                                                         ~Me☺
Day 25- What I would find in your bag

Finally, finally, finally! The long wait is over... well, at least my long wait is over! Yeah, I've been really excited on posting this here already and when I found some good "me-time" yesterday (while Tim was out jogging to give those muscles the greatest fix ever!), I didn't waste time at all! I immediately scavenged my bag and took pictures of it and everything inside it! :D Now, now here's a little disclaimer before you proceed... this is going to be really girly... if you're not interested in these kinds of stuff you are certainly free to go or you're free to check out my archives.

Please do forgive me. I'm actually talking to myself. Hahah! Anyhoo, don't tell me I didn't tell you I told you so! Peace ;)

First up... *drum roll*

THE BAG, of course.
Not my favoritest of all the bags that I own, but I do like this because all of my stuff can be properly arranged inside! It's a Gap canvass (I think) bag. Because I'm not really very familiar as to how bags are specifically classified - for me, for as long as it's comfortable and big enough to accommodate my necessity babies... that will surely work!

So moving on... to the contents.

NOT TOTALLY EVERYTHING just yet! :)
1. the bag.
2. my pink umbrella (wc needs some sewing, btw!)
3. work i.d - couldn't live without it!
4. a slim bangle which is a part of a 7-day set (and the others are in another bag)
5. diy journal. pimped, actually :)
6. my ever beloved Walkie the cellphone ^^,
7. Judge gum.
8. little gadget pouch
9. ultimate kikay kit (floral and very sweet)
10. my lucky wallet (supposedly! heheh)
11. native pouch come cellphone case (my mother's pasalubong from...I forgot! :|)
but I will let you know once I do!
12. iPhone... that's just the name of my spare phone. Haha! I like it
because it's super cute and it's.... PINK of course!
13. lucky coin purse (gifted by colleague, Juno and I'm soo happy that it's still alive
until now! I really love that it's black and sparkly! I'm such a fish!)
14. Tim's USB which I've borrowed and constantly bring... just in case!
(will be putting in black swan in there a few minutes! :D)
15. Victoria's Secret - Secret Charm scent. Just a random pick and nothing
very special with a very special and interesting story.
16. Alcohol. One of the many, many things I could never live without.
Call me OC. I will admit!

Piece by piece, tear it up (not!)

The pouches!
 1. My floral kikay kit and gadget pouch.
They're pretty stuffed if I must say. They really are!
Sometimes I could hear them cry cuz they're all jammed up inside :(
2. Safety pins. They can always come in handy.
You'll never know when a wardrobe malfunction would kill you.
3. Contents of my gadget pouch:
~card reader in a see through pink pouch
~Stabilo Boss in pink
~G-tech - I don't write with anything else unfortunately and I don't know why.
~Silver and Pink metallic pens for special occasions :)
~Scissors. You'll never know when you need one.
~Nail cutter. Very useful.
All my phone chargers are not even there, but yes they do fit!
4. Hair clips. Sometimes my bangs and hair can really go in the way...
so these can really go in handy for a good hair SOS.
It takes make up to look natural ;)
Guess who said that!

YES! Calvin Klein!

 1. toothbrush, toothpaste and floss in another pink see-through pouch.
2. Paganini 5-brush set plus a concealer brush that I forgot where I bought! :o
3. Ponytails. Cuz in this humid and warm country it is definitely a no-no to just let your hair
down and fly with the wind+dust all day.
4. random lash curler (prolly my sister's)
5. Maybelline eye & lip make-up remover. I bring it with me in my kikay kit
in case of make-up malfunction and also if I find myself too lazy to go home
and opt to sleep at Tim's instead.
6. Vaseline healthy white lotion. I like to keep it in my kit because it's so small
and definitely saves me loads of space! Plus! It works fine with my skin, too :)
7. Myra-E lip balm.
The first time I tried it on (before I even knew Carmex existed!)
I fell in love with it. It made my lips smooth to the touch.
8. lipstick tubes in: coral, nude pink, vibrant violet (fave)
and shimmery (almost like a lip balm :D)
9. Girl's Night nourishing body cream - which I only put on when I am to see Tim.
Which is like almost everyday. Hahaha! But I love the scent of it...
Peonies and waterlilies! Hmmm!
10. Avon liquid eyeliner. Not the best but I like it somehow
because it's too easy to apply!
11. Double eyeliner in silver and black.
Did you know that silver and white eyeliner will make your eyes look
more vibrant and stress-free? Try it :)
12. lip and cheek tint. I love the soft touch of pink in it.
It makes me look sooo innocent and 16 :p
13. ELF duo eyeshadow cream in butter pecan ♥
14. Lush lip tint (given by my wonderful friend Teenee) I love its bubble-gum scent!
15. lip liner. I figured that if I put on lip liner on my lips
before putting on the last shade of lipstick it will make the color last longer :)
16. a lipstick sampler. it's sooo cute and the color is also nice. So I'm keeping it :)
17. ELF blush in blushing rose (I think! A gift from my sister Lique. I learned
all of my making-up skills from her :D)
18. Clear mascara for lazy breezy days.
19. my bestfriend, Petroleum Jelly! Could be used as a make-up remover, too!
Thanks to Lois to that. She was the one who said I try it.. so I did.
And a miracle just happened!
20. Avon daring definition mousse mascara.
21. Olay Natural White - because I can't live without moisturizer.
22. Avon true color blush -- because I love it's semi-peachy color.
23. ELF Corrective concealer (Another gift from Lique! She's a big fan of concealers.)
24. Maybelline shine free face powder. It really is a must have!
Makes your face look smooth and flawless all day long.
Even in pictures! :)
25. Avon solutions refined white make-up base.
I've been looking for too long for a make-up base and good thing that this
was on sale. I then bought 2 in mint! It's really nice to the skin and gives you that
healthy and flawless face look... naturally :)
WOW! Doing that was like baring my soul. But I know that only a few get to stumble upon this blog. Heheh... I hope you enjoyed my babbling about though! And to those who are planning to ask (assuming!), yes, I am a big lover of pink and make-up but it doesn't mean that I wear pink all of the time (from head to foot) and that I wear make-up most of the time, too (like Audrey Hepburn, even in her sleep! Well, at least in the movies! heheh..)

This entry I leave to you who reads this :) Thank you so much! I appreciate your dropping by every now and then!

PIT SENYOR CEBU!

Julie and Me... Waiting for the Holy Mass @ Sto Niño ♥

angst away,

~tSin

P.S.

If you're wondering why I don't keep a comb with me... this I honestly say, that although I use it occasionally, I'd rather have my hair unkempt. I just love it that way :D

The Aftermath of an Emotional Turbulence.

The worst part of being a woman is having the monthly visitor.
I hate it for a gazillion of reasons and to name
just a few:

1. It makes me feel really, really F U G L Y as in fat and ugly to the highest level.
2. It makes me want to throw fist fights with The Boyfriend everyday until the visitor finally comes.
3. It makes me depressed. Thus all the tweets. They seem to be too uncontrollable and too tempting to just vent I couldn't help but tweet them without thoroughly thinking about them really.
4. It makes me want to just sulk up in bed and alienate myself from everyone.
5. It makes me binge-eat.
6. It makes me MIA in social networking sites as well. Uhm, except for Twitter though.

I've been asking fellow women why we have to feel this way before (and in my case, ask myself, after) the dreaded periods. I mean, I could see it coming but in the 12 years that I've been having this, I still couldn't seem to find a way to control it somehow. They say that it's because of the hormones that's why we all have this bittersweet days (and the bitterest of days come menopausal days). I really have a hard battle with this PMS. It sucks big time. I want it to go away like totally without a trace. I don't want to take mood stabilizers or anything at all. I just want it to go away naturally.

The emotional turbulence is truly heartbreaking and disturbing. Now I'm even more afraid to show my face to people. Oh no!

*sighs*

On a lighter note, I have wrapped all my Christmas presents already! My anxiety goes to the clothing gifts which I have a big fear that might not fit those wearing them. But I hope that they will though! I am very excited to be playing Santa Claus and deliver all those gifts to the deserving. Hahaha! I have already given some of the gifts and my heart couldn't help from glowing with delight once I see them unwrap the presents with big smiles on their faces. I always love to witness the unwrapping of gifts! It's my favoritest part next to wrapping them :) I didn't fulfill the promised theme for the wrappers though cuz... I found them too expensive, honestly but I compensated with wrapping them lovingly.

I wish I could take a picture of at least one or two people unwrapping their gifts from either me or The Boyfriend and me :)

ANDDDDD! I'm excited too cuz The Boyfriend and I will be exchanging gifts tomorrow! Lucky us that we won't be working our asses off on Christmas eve. Quality time, here I come!

Christmas Wishlist 50

I've always had a thing with crosses. In fact, it's my number one favorite symbol in the whole world followed closely by my eternal love for anything starry and moony =) I can't explain why I easily fall for them whenever I find one... but for the cross I think I could give you a couple of reasons why I like it:

1. It's like a symbol for the first initial of my nickname: t -- see how the small letter could somehow symbolize the cross?

2. Because I am a true believer of Jesus and how He saved the world through the ultimate sacrifice of having been nailed to a cross. The cross constantly reminds me that love is indeed unconditional.

I hope they are convincing enough because they are truly honest answers! I know I am not religiously religious but I am devout enough to believe that the good will still conquer the world in the end (which I hope will not be very soon yet! GOD FORBID!).

So here's another one thing I wish I could have this Christmas:

I've been eying on this for months now. I stumbled upon these beauties while browsing through all girly things online and I immediate fell in love and wanted one soooo much! Sadly, there is no Forever21 boutique in this part of the Philippines :( But, I might be able to find something similar somewhere though *crosses fingers*

there was an earthquake,

~tSin

P.S.

Another blog to follow! The start of my "I AM TSIN IN 30 DAYS". I bailed out on the other one :( I'm sorry. I've skipped too many days it's not even 30 days anymore and I'm too busy for it as of now :| But once I have time I will have them back! ♥

Christmas Wishlist 51

51 more days before Christmassss! I could smell pine trees! I seriously could! And all those Christmas lights along the sidewalk brings nothing but nostalgia! It makes me want to go back to those times when all I had to worry about were school, the wondering if the boy I like likes me, too, and waking up early so as not to be late for the Simbang Gabi! I ultimately miss it! We were hanging out at Starbucks yesterday (not for leisure though!) and they were playing all of these lovely Christmas songs! I wanted to cry!

Anyhoo, I'm still not done with our work project (and I still got more coming up, to be honest) so I'll just have to post this real quick before I could forget!

I am not a very big fan of oxford shoes but when I stumbled upon these beauties in UrbanOutfitters... I just couldn't resist putting it in my wishlist! I truly adore! A girl could just certainly dream forever! I wish we have this around here!

now back to work,

Christmas Wishlist 52

~Oh Thank God there's Blogspot that's always reliable! ♥

Yes, we have 52 more days left before... CHRISTMASSS! And I'm starting to fill out my wishlist and gift-list. You read that right: GIFT-LIST. It's my own list of the people I will be wrapping presents for this Christmas, but nope, you certainly won't find me riding a sleigh pulled by red-nosed reindeer and climbing a non-existent chimney. Snow haven't heard of the Philippines just yet. Zit. I will take photos of my wrapped gifts when I'm done with them :) I've decided that my wrappers for this year will be in the bluish and silvery shade :) Last year, it was of pink and silver.

I will be working really hard in the next hours to come. I've, or rather, WE have a deadline to meet and we're so close to that and I honestly haven't started anything yet. Not even a draft! Good heavens! Plus, there's the pressure of not having any finalization yet to the upcoming departmental party for the company which I am part of (the committee). Major headache! It's going to be on the 5th already! I'm going bonkers certainly! :o

To de-stress... I am looking at these dresses for the Christmas party:

Yes, I want my dresses simple, low cut, and sexy :p Ala Serena Van Der Woodsen :) But I'm still thinking of just wearing a black minimalistic tube dress. We'll see about that... in four weeks or less :o And oh! My apologies for forgetting where I took those photos from :( I'm not sure... Prolly edressme? If anyone knows, please let me know! Thank you!

And my wishlist post:

~picture from HERE.

The Boyfriend Blazer. Ultimate want! I have been looking everywhere! I found one in TopShop at Php4395 and thought that it was too much. I found one in July that fit perfectly but... I couldn't impulse shop! I just couldn't! I have to wait for Christmas. I have to. I hope, I hope... Santa Claus hears me.

the pictures, the pictures, the thief,

~tSin

P.S.

Either of these blazers will work, too :) ♥

When The Boyfriend is Asleep

at their place...

The Girlfriend will take pictures of herself :p

This is why I couldn't sleep at all when I am home alone. I am too vain to postpone pictorials of myself! Tsktsk.

Boyfriend: (checking on me via SMS) What are you doing?

Me: Closing my eyes and counting the holes on the ceiling. Trying to get some sleep!

Oh liar! When in fact, I am all too giddy to send my reply so I could... take pictures of myself again! Hahah! Crazy!

And I was actually reorganizing my closet (thus the picture up, up, up above :D) in between striking poses for an invisible audience. Here is the result:

The top 3 colors in my closet?

3. Black
2. Pink
1. Blue

I was really surprised, too! I thought I've had too many blacks I could ban myself from buying another black dress yet again but... I really don't have enough black at all. I might be filling in the closet with some more flowery prints and the basics: nude, white, and cream? I've got to work on the shoes, too! I am terrible when it comes to such feet comforts! :o

It's Thursday finally! I am sooo looking forward to the weekend because I will be meeting with three of my most gorgeous college girlfriends on Saturday!
I am definitely excited! ♥ It sure is going to be a mini reunion!

centralized,

~tSin

P.S.

I didn't have the guts to take a picture of my before-the-reorganizing-look closet because... it's way too crowded and messy! I can't bare it to all of you. Heheh...

P.S.S.

Totally sad about Indonesia :( Please, let's spend a minute to pray for them.
They had earthquake, then tsunami, and finally a volcanic eruption all in 24 hours!
Super sad!

HAPPY CAPSLOCK DAY!!!

~a new breakfast love: ensaemada+butter and Esprit raspberry @ Starbucks

Err... Nope. I won't pester you into celebrating something which annoys about 99.99% of the world's population. But if you're curious enough you can read the full story here. WATCH OUT! Jk ;)

Here are some of my week's highlights, can I ask permission to give them all in bullets? :) Thanks!

  • I finally found some good pair of running shoes for my mediocre feet and I already told you in my previous blog, didn't I? Well, I just feel like saying so again together with the fact that I've already had my first run, too! I was sooo dead tired I thought I could collapse with just one round of jogging! I think I ran too fast. Now I know what The Boyfriend meant when he said it's too much of a challenge to control the pace of your running. But it was just the first time... I could always do better the next. That's to hoping I won't collapse by then!
  • The world is not going to end soon. I've got two proofs! One, there are still food and some other stuff manufactured that will expire beyond 2012! Two, Yahoo said so!
  • It's CAPSLOCK DAY today! DO I HAVE TO REITERATE?! WELL, THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING. Please refer to post up, up above! :D
  • Nikkita. I haven't started watching it yet, but I will this weekend! It's finally going to be a no work weekend for me! Time to stretch, relax, dine watch a movie and TV series and simply enjoy the weekend!
  • Lexmark's got a really cool new multi-function printer. The Genesis. I wish these world-class products are available here in the P.I!
  • Disappointing first visit to the Etude House. I've read about it a really, really long time ago in some random blog and just recently, I found out that they finally have a branch here in Ubec. Since I found out about it in the middle of the night I apparently couldn't just leave and head straight to SM City to take a good look at it... so I had no other option but to just read about it. Some bloggers said that sales ladies from the Etude House will welcome you with a "WELCOME PRINCESS" greeting once you get inside the store! I was so excited about this (hahaha! lame!) and to see all of the other good stuff in the store as well. I had to wait two more days before I could go and when I finally did... Disappointment :( The place wasn't what I imagined it to be, sadly. The people there didn't even notice us come inside the store - it's either they were too busy preparing for lunch break (because we arrived about noon) or they were just thinking that we were just one of those shoppers who stumbled upon the store without any intention of purchasing anything! But I was really thinking of buying some BB cream and nail polishes, but I was too dismayed to buy anything at all. So we left empty-handed and heart slightly broken :( The Etude House in SM City Cebu is located on the ground floor near the supermarket and the ground floor department store. I'm not great with directions so I hope you'll find it somehow! Heheh...
The Boyfriend's comment: "Is that what you were too excited to see? The place looks... hugaw (dirty)." Yes, it certainly didn't look very inviting... well, except that it is very, very pink! ^^,
  • Carmex lip balms are on sale! Yes, they definitely are! I bet you've read from my previous blogs how I instantly fell in love with this magical lip medicine! So I really couldn't help spreading the good news that it is available in Ubec! And the flavored ones are currently on sale up to 50% off in Ayala Center department store! Go grab one now before it runs out! :)
Here is my Carmex doodle ;) I covered it with the real one though. Hihi.
  • Lastly, today The Boyfriend and I are celebrating our 27 months of being together! Hoh-wow! I am proud of us for still being together after everything that we've been through! Those rough times surely made us stronger! Thank you so much God! We don't usually celebrate monthsaries because we both believe that it is unnecessary to wait for a certain day to make it special... everyday can be special and full of surprises if we want to. I could certainly fall in love with this manboy all over and over again and love him far longer than f.o.r.e.v.e.r! I swear!

I am not usually sweet, but I can be really mushy at times :) This is cheesy in a genuine level and I did this because of love ♥ So to all the haters and the cynical, you better find your tunay na pag-ibig. I'm sure it's going to turn your life around in a majorly good, good way! Just remember though to love yourself first above anything and anybody else because after all yourself is your only fallback when everything and everyone else fails.

Anyhoo, you all have a great Saturday! I'm praying and at the same time crossing my fingers for a great weather and no raging storms!

happy SaturdaY;

~tSin

Sometimes When I Sleep I Wish I'd Never Wake Up

photos randomly picked from random sites in Google Images :)
Because in my dreams I am the hero of every story told and even if I die in my sleep I could just start a whole new dream altogether.

Of course the real world is still a lot better despite the fact that we don't always get what we want right here, but in the end we'll realize that all the tough rides and miserable wanderings are all worth
everything.

click on photo for a LARGER view!

Finally, I am done with day 5 - Letter to Your Dreams! After a very, very long time of procrastinating! There goes my masterpiece... or not! Be my judge. I've added some kindergarten drawings on my writings. I love doodling! But this art definitely doesn't love me as much! :|

click on photo for a LARGER view!

Like any other normal kids, I've had too many dreams and ambitions when I was just a kiddo who knew nothing but spend scorching hot afternoons in the blazing midday sun, chasing boys for a game of tag, and sculpting mud! instead of listening to Granny's advice of taking a long relaxing siesta. Hahaha! What past-time activity did I seriously have back then? Well, it was a really fun childhood though.

Going back, I won't reiterate any further or compose a novelette at all because I really don't want to bore any of you at all. I'll just give you a list here of all the things and people I wanted to be while I was growing up:

  1. A Writer. I couldn't remember exactly when I started to write things but I think that I've been writing since the day I came out of my mother's womb! I've had tons and tons of diaries most of which are filled with feelings, feelings, and feelings and dismay for boys who never noticed me at all. I get goosebumps when I reread them now... they're too cheesy! I don't want to admit at all that it was me who ever wrote them!
  2. A Cyclist. And I don't know which came first my dream to become a writer or to be a cyclist. I grew up watching my dad in his mountain bike with really tight bike shorts and super cool looking helmets and the perfect cycling shades! You can refer on my older post and you'll see I've biked since I was like three although the photo might show that I'm like five there already, but I did start riding those makeshift bikes for kids who doesn't know how to balance yet. I was in love with biking and it's sad though that I couldn't even remember anymore the last time I've pedaled - fast and hard. Phew.
  3. A Flight Attendant. I used to call them just "stewardess". Well, that was how they were called before, right? But I've long given up on this dream ever since the day I found out that I could no longer grow another inch taller!
  4. A Ballet Dancer. Aside from sculpting mud, I also do cartwheels on our Carabao grass-covered front yard. And whenever I get tired of walking - as in plain walking - I walk on tiptoes. So sometimes, yeah, I'd like to think that if my parents sent me to ballet school I could've been a dancer and a very good one.
  5. I Wanted to be Robin Padilla. Because his outfit really looked sooo cool! And his bad-ass look is just stunning! Believe me, I've had acid washed denim vests... and those bandanas he wear around his head to complete the bandita look. Heheheh! I just love him and even now that's he's married Mariel -- he still remains to be my all time Filipino artista crush! And the ultimate one!
  6. A Geneticist. Influenced mainly by that book of John Darnton - The Experiment. It surely is a must read and one of my favoritest books ever!
  7. A Psychologist. No particular field. I just wanted to be one because I wanted to deal with people. I don't know how or why I even bother to want to get paid to listen to humans whine and complain when I can surely do this for free... to friends.
  8. A Clinical Psychologist. Because I didn't want to end up as a Human Resource personnel. Maybe I could handle interviews and trainings BUT NEVER computing salaries and benefits. No way.
  9. A Wanderer or Traveler. I want to see the world and experience the culture, taste the food, and discover the type of music that they have in every country, city, or town.
  10. A Violinist or Pianist. Just because
  11. A Housewife. Who will always be there for her kids whenever they call. Who would cook breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks! Who would take her family to picnics and amusement parks. Who would take her family to a trip abroad during the summer. Who would love her family with all of her heart and soul.
I still have a lot of dreams... some I've already dreamed about and some I would still have to dream of the moment I close my eyes.

who did you want to be,

~tSin

Call it nature, call it fate how we love to exaggerate.

Think of one of your on own reasons why
We are bound, yet alone, just passing by
~Brazilian Girls, All We Have

07.03.09 | 04:15:27 | monsters go away

This is an interesting question that I've stumbled upon while browsing the www:

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Why can't women put on mascara with their mouth closed?

Now really? Hahaha! Too bad I left my mascara at home that I couldn't even try right now and see for myself that truly women put on their mascara with their mouth open! I know that's ridiculous, but I'm pretty sure that question is not true for everyone. Maybe most. Well, girls just can't help holding up that pucker while putting on their make-up. It's just sexy like that. *winks* I used to not really like applying mascara before together with the eyeliner, I felt like it didn't go with my eyes well, like it would only make my eyes bulge or it doesn't seem to be really there at all cuz I really have very short eyebrows. Poor me! Yeah, I used to not like it, but now they've become one of my bestfriends in the make-up world! :) Here's a picture of me with the mascara and eyeliner altogether!

It always take me forever though to put them cuz my eyelids are pretty small as well. Basically, my eyes are seemingly not the type to fill with eyeshadows or I just really don't know how to put make-up in general. I even mess up on the lipstick or perhaps my lips are just too big. I don't know. It looks big to me and I've been teased before cuz of that and I must admit it was quite embarassing. But let me not dwell on that too much, I love putting lip shimmers and lip balms though - I really think they look good on me. :D And I especially love Katy Perry's lipstick shades of bubble gum pink! Like this one:

Isn't that pretty??? That is Max Factor's Pin-up or Misunderstood lipstick (I'm not really sure which of the two though! Sorry.). I might get one for myself as well! Hahah! Well, they're really lovely, aren't they?

By the way you might want to check this out: Best Mascaras on the Market from Cheap to Steep. I am also looking for probably a blue or violet mascara and eyeliner! I think they might be good for night outs! :D
