Day 08- Short term goals for this month and why

Since the Ber-months came into the scene my schedule has been nothing but... hectic and really, really cramped (I'm starting to think I seriously need to buy myself an organizer again!). There has been a lot of changes with processes at work in terms of operation so every day is like a first-day-in-school experience. We've had some exercises on managing anger, avoiding burn out and all those kinds of good stuff and it did help, but I still feel like I do need a break somehow. I mean a break from taking calls and shielding myself from all the negativity that surrounds me. You think taking calls for a good 9 hours (almost) non-stop is a tough job? Wait 'til I tell you about hearing all negative comments that could really, really pull me down the drain! But no, I won't tell you about it now. As of the moment I want to be positive and all sunshiny. So never mind the haters and all the pessimists. I don't have time for them today.

Moving on, my short term goals for this month are the following:

~save, save, save so I could give decent gifts for Christmas! I've already bought gifts for my sister and mum... so that leaves me with just a dozen more people. Wow!

~seamlessly accomplish all the tasks that has been assigned to me for the Year-End party for our department.

~stay on top of my game. I'm falling farther behind, but I really got to work on this.

~catch up with friends before the year even ends!

~join the Year-End charity for the old people! This will be my first time ever so I'm really excited about it! :)

So that's about it! I still got a lot of things on top of my head though but I couldn't seem to remember everything at all! Bonkers?! Hopefully not!

Btw, my sister Ang got me and mum cervical cancer shots! It's really sooo sweet of her! I am now not minding the throbbing pain in my left arm which is preventing me to do a couple of things, but this will pass. Ang said this is her gift for a lifetime. True-lalala! She really had a bargain on these shots though. Imagine it's only P1,300 for all the three shots! Blow me down! I've learned that it actually cost P1,600/shot in regular clinics. So oh well, thanks again Ang! ♥
