I am a BIG lover of music and I am a voracious one, too. By that I mean, I listen to a variety of music genres. And it doesn't even matter from which country or language they are as long as their rhythm tickles my fancy I'd be totally hooked and could play it for like forever! I wanted to give you a little history of my music taste from when I was just 2 or 3 years old to now that I'm full grown and probably have heard, more or less, half of the music genre there is in the world or probably not really. Anyhoo, going back to the task for today... let me go ahead and tell you the kind of songs (or artists) that I listen to when I am:
Happy and Hyped and Bored ^_^
I'd listen to really upbeat songs when I've got all smiles on my face so as to widen or make the smile way bigger :) I'd listen to these people when I'm happy and hyped: Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Kesha, Bloc Party, Taken By Cars, Kesha, Vampire Weekend (cuz they do sound happy when they sing!), Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, The Black Eyed Peas and some of the most recent songs that are queued right in the mainstream :) And you might be wondering why I'd listen to the same artists when I'm bored... well, apparently, they could easily take the boredom off cuz they're truly inviting and I couldn't help myself from dancing to their tunes!
Sad and Mad :((
I love to listen to these people when I'm truly in a bad mood: Taking Back Sunday, Silverstein, Mayday Parade, Senses Fail, Colbie Caillat, Taylor Swift, Paramore, Manchester Orchestra, The Killers, One Republic, Snow Patrol, The Used, The Smiths, Coldplay, Blue October, Dashboard Confessional, The All American Rejects, Air, Augustana, Anberlin and honestly... a lot more! I do like to listen to a lot of screaming and some relaxing music as well whenever I'm either sad or mad.
