Sun-Watcher.

Me at my new station. Sorry for the clutter :|
Since I've moved in to my new station I've done nothing but... sun-watch. My spot here is really perfect to check out on the weather. It's been raining in the island for days and days - I almost forgot that the sun could still really shine as it always has before: skin-biting-heat... more or less. And please don't get me wrong because I certainly am not complaining about the weather at all! I love it! It's been perfect for days! I wish it could stay like that forever... a bit of rain and a refreshing brush of sunshine. I really do wish, but, of course, may God's will be done! I just pray though that when the heavy rains do come that no house nor life may be washed away with the flood that it brings forth! I've been hearing silly stuff on the A.M radio saying that the city government are putting the blame solely on the squatters occupying areas by the riverside or under the bridges. Yeah, maybe they can be blamed, but come on, they weren't the only ones who destroyed and brought forth flood everywhere! Either way, every one of us here in this, supposedly untouchable, island have contributed to the calamities which are merely consequences of our own negligence to take care of the world that we're living in. So Mr Mayor or whoever started this unreasonable assumption -- your move is utterly wrong.

Now, now, let me not dwell in that at all too much. I've said enough. *sighs*

Let me just post pictures of my sun-shots of the week. Take time with me to pause and appreciate its beauty... you'll never know, it could be gone too soon. But hopefully, hopefully not!

Sun line.

Fierce. Fiery. Blazing.

And then it shies away slowly....

Finally, waves good bye.

Weren't those pictures of the sun a beauty? I would say they are :D Not because I took those photos but because they really are. I wish I could stay in this same spot a tad bit longer ;) I'm definitely loving it! Because...

1) When my seatmate finally goes home at about 3AM (at the most), I could start getting my make-up kit out of my bag and then paint my face :p

2) I could camwhore at any time I want as long as I don't have a work waiting on the phone ;)

3) I am always the first in the group to see the sun's glorious rising :)

Anyhoo, let me finish off with these photos:

Happy Chinese New Year | 02.03.2011
I missed the Chinese festivities - actually, have never been to one.
BUT! I did see fireworks!
PLUS! I had Macy and Tea :)

Tocilette breakfast ♥
Tim and I tried to make a faux sillette at home and...
We've got to try again. Hehe.

Amidst threatening skies... there's the rainbow.
This rainbow looked too vivid LIVE.
I felt like I could really touch it if I was near enough.
When I was a kid, I really used to think I could find the end of the rainbow.
With a pot of gold? Not too sure on that part.

Have a blessed Sunday, all!
